Deploying Citrix Receiver (for IT professionals)

For deploying Citrix Receiver to your organizations managed or unmanaged devices, we recommend the Long Term Service Release (LTSR).  You can download the LTSR installer here.

Citrix Receiver can be deployed and configured via command-line parameters, startup/logon script, and group policy.  We’ve given our best practices for each method of deployment below:

Command-Line

CitrixReceiver.exe /silent /enableCEIP=false

Startup/Logon deployment scripts

Citrix provides sample check-and-deploy batch scripts for the deployment or removal of Citrix Receiver.  There separate scripts for use at machine startup or user logon.  They can be found here.

Group Policy

We have pre-configured a GPO with the basic settings called “AT-CCX-CitrixReceiverBaseline”.  To use custom settings, please create a separate GPO for your organization.
